… Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.” And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins”… For the consecration of the bread and wine during the Eucharistic celebration, various objects are normally used, including the paten on which to place the Sacred host, the chalice into which to pour the wine, the pyx to distribute the Sacred hosts during communion.
We have created our modern line of chalices and pyxes, seeking simpler, linear and somber shapes.
We use noble materials such as copper, brass and silver of considerable thickness, which are chiseled and hammered by hand, finished with certified thick 24 Kr GOLD plating and gilding, 100% silver plating, two-tone and enamel.
The cups of our chalices and pyxes are thickly plated in 24 Kr gold, certified and compliant with food use.
In September 2024 we obtained the MOCA Declaration of Conformity
(Material and Objects in Contact with Food).
This certificate guarantees that the cups of our certified thick 24 Kr gold-plated chalices and pyxes comply with food use.
The cups are the same as always but we believe that having the declaration is very important because it guarantees those who buy the glass that they are purchasing a product that is not harmful to their health.
